Aries Star Sign
If you were born between March 21st and April 19th you were born when the Sun was passing through the sign of Aries.
This sign is represented by the Ram. To get some insight into this image, think on… Well actually that’s it, a ram doesn’t think. As you’ll know, it is more inclined to act, and react head first. It tries to instinctually force things or outcomes.
Now, if you are a typical Aries you will tend to be self-motivated, a self-starter, self-sufficient. You’ll tend to be spontaneous, wilful, fiery and impulsive.
There is a need in you to take action, and usually this combines with a sense of urgency, a need to get there, and to be there first in what you are doing. You will often take the initiative, be assertive and direct in your nature.
It is a pioneering spirit that drives Aries. Where this involves others, you will often be found taking a lead in matters. But this is often for your own interest to get on with things rather than necessarily from the desire to help (or lead) others. Achieving your objectives is important.
As an Aries you can come across as very competitive, but often this will be tinged with an endearing innocence. You will tend to be optimistic and warm by nature. Also courageous and open to taking risks – that others might shy away from.
Considering your relationships
As a typical Aries you will be friendly and most probably fun to be with, but will also seek to act independently.
There is nothing secretive about you – you’ll tend to be upfront with no hidden agenda – and you’ll tend to telegraph what you are feeling. You’ll be passionate with a strong libido and sexual feelings.
But you can be insensitive to the feelings of others in your circle of contacts. And certainly not always tactful in your manner – which is something you might look at.
In partnerships you will prefer to do things your way. In context, relationships that place constraints on your “go it alone” approach to life can become testing for both parties.
In difficult relationships, as a typical Aries, you will rarely carry resentment for long – “forgive and forget” will tend to be your motto – and you’ll soon bounce back, regaining your optimism if or when things go wrong. And it is this that can also help keep you and the person you love, together.
Taking a look at your likely vocational interests
Aa a typical Aries you will like to keep busy, will like to be doing in bursts of energy. You’ll be looking for quick wins off the back of having clear and direct activity.
So, roles that involve taking the initiative, being able to work independently, under your own steam, are likely to be of interest to you. As indeed will roles that bring out your pioneering spirit of adventure, and/or where there is a degree of competition will also be of interest.
As an Aries you’ll tend to like lots of physical movement. Work outdoors, and equally in noisy industrial situations, are also likely to appeal.
Whether you choose to run your own business or work for others, the choice is yours. But keep a cool head and think things through before making decisions.
And what about your challenges?
A major challenge you face, as a typical Aries, is being inclined to force getting your own way. You’ll have a tendency towards being impatient, tending to act first and ask questions later – which can get you into trouble, and get you labelled as impulsive, difficult and indeed, naïve.
It may well also be a case of “more haste less speed,” and finding you are having to do something again, and possibly again. Because of your need to get to the other side quickly, you can overlook things.
As an Aries it will be good practice for you to develop patience; to make a habit of checking back for any details you may have missed in anything you are doing – before going too far ahead. This will help you to avoid making mistakes and having to undo or repeat your actions.

A reminder…
I hope you have found the above comments helpful. But, here’s a reminder that your star sign can only ever provide a useful but very incomplete overview of what makes you tick.
To better understand yourself, through astrology, you need to get hold of your birth-chart.
Your birth-chart (or natal-chart), set up for the time, date and place of your birth, will include all the major planets, zodiac signs and astrological houses, to provide you with a huge amount of insight into your life’s potential.
You will find websites that offer this service – some are for free too. I assure you this will be an adventure – certainly a bigger adventure than just relying on what sign the Sun was in when you were born.
And note, this is why when reading through your star sign I use the term “typical.” It is because you will only be typical of your sign if other factors, such as the position of your planets, support it.
I wish you well with your adventure…
