Sagittarius Star Sign
If you were born between November 22nd and December 20th, you were born when the Sun was passing through the Fire sign of Sagittarius.
The sign is represented by the archer or alternatively the half man half horse Centaur carrying a bow and arrow. To get some insight into these images, think movement, travel, distances, targets and, in a deeper sense, with the Centaur, gaining control over one’s lower self.
As a typical Sagittarian you will tend to take a philosophical outlook on life. You’ll have a strong curiosity about things. You’ll tend to be open-minded, benevolent, optimistic, versatile, adaptable, adventurous, a risk-taker, honest and direct.
Unless factors suggest otherwise, the Sagittarian tends to see life as “the glass half-full” and will gamble on things getting better.
The Sagittarian may be full of wanderlust, seeking to broaden out their horizons, whether as a physical expansion, of what they own, big is better, or an expansion of their mind – or both.
They will seek to accomplish this through travel to distant lands, experiencing other cultures, perhaps through sports, education, reading and writing, languages, and/or through exploring some of the deeper questions that life throws up.
Considering your relationships
In relationships you will tend to be passionate, conventional, be very warm, loving and considerate.
Your optimism can be infectious and endearing. You’ll always want to see the best in others, and for others. Always, however, you are likely to cherish your independence, seeking the freedom to have fun, adventure and not feel tied down.
As a result, you may have many relatively short-term relationships during your life, while finding it difficult to settle down.
To settle down, you’ll probably need a partnership where both of you are up for exploration and adventure either together or individually.
Taking a look at your likely vocational interests
As a Sagittarian you need open doors, the opportunity to explore, be adventurous and take a risk. You are very likely to be ambitious and inclined to aim high.
Any avenue that allows for speculation, versatility, travel, an enterprising and far-reaching approach to matters, is likely to have appeal for you. As indeed are areas involving higher education, the law, philosophies, the sciences and religion.
You’ll most probably like your freedom, and at your least happy tied down to dull routine/s that hampers or limits your self-worth.
And what about your challenges?
It has to be said that not all Sagittarians are necessarily high-brow or high rollers; they may just as easily be pleasure seekers, beach bums or gamblers, inclined to over-do it, to squander and be wasteful of opportunities…
If not tempered, as a Sagittarian, you may also be given over to having an exaggerated opinion of who you are. You can be inclined to take the high ground and become overly judgemental of others. Be watchful of this tendency…
Being an opportunist, getting one over on others, being overly-extravagant, boastful, brash, being frank, and lacking tact with others, can all be possible traits of the Sagittarius star sign.
Consider you are much better placed helping others to broaden their horizons.
