The NDE of Paul Eicke is about a boy, aged three years old, who had by all accounts drowned and then came back from the dead. It happened back in April 2010 in Germany. This little boy made a remarkable recovery and had a remarkable story to tell. [ NDE of Paul Eicke ]

What happened…

Paul fell into the pond at his grandparents’ house when the family were visiting. It is believed he was in the pond for several minutes before his grandfather saw him and pulled him out.

His father then gave him heart massage and mouth-to-mouth during the ten minutes it took for an ambulance helicopter to arrive. [ NDE of Paul Eicke ]

Taken to hospital

Paramedics then took over and Paul was taken on a ten-minute journey to the hospital. Doctors then tried to resuscitate him for hours. They had just about given up when, three hours and 18 minutes after he was brought in, Paul’s heart started beating again under its own steam.

Professor Lothar Schweigerer, director of the Helios Clinic, where Paul was taken, said he had never experienced anything like it. He added, ‘When children have been underwater for a few minutes they mostly don’t make it. This is a most extraordinary case.’

In The Daily Mail (UK) newspaper version of this story they quoted statistics from America that show the majority of children who survive drownings, that is 92 per cent, are discovered within two minutes following submersion, also that nearly all children who require cardiopulmonary resuscitation either die or are left with severe brain injury.

Technically why he might have survived

In this case it is thought that the temperature of the pond helped Paul to survive for longer. The water was very cold and the boy’s core temperature had dropped to just 28c, compared to the normal of 37c. Cold temperatures slow the metabolism – which can allow the body to survive for longer without oxygen.

According to Professor Schweigerer, if the temperature had been higher, the team would have stopped trying to resuscitate after 40 minutes because the boy would definitely have been brain dead. Instead, they carried on with the chest compressions to stimulate Paul’s organs, which had shut down after he breathed in the cold water.

The Professor went on: ‘My doctors were close to saying “we can do no more” after two hours of thorax compression. This was because the chances of survival had gone and the little lad must have been brain dead.’ [ NDE of Paul Eicke ]

‘But then suddenly his heart started to beat again … it was a fantastic miracle.’ He continued, ‘I’ve been doing this job for 30 years and have never seen anything like this. It goes to show the human body is a very resilient organism and you should never give up.’

The NDE part of this story

If the boy’s survival was not profound enough in itself there was another part to this young person’s story that bears some similarity to the common stages in the near death experience.

While unconscious Paul claims he saw his great grandmother, Emmi, who turned him back from a gate, urging him to go back to his parents.

Paul said: ‘There was a lot of light and I was floating. I came to a gate and I saw Grandma Emmi on the other side.’

‘She said to me, “What are you doing here Paul? You must go back to mummy and daddy. I will wait for you here.” He continued, ‘I knew I was in heaven. But grandma said I had to come back home. She said that I should go back very quickly.’

He added that, ‘Heaven looked nice. But I am glad I am back with mummy and daddy now.’

Paul indeed went back home, to Lychen, north of Berlin, with reportedly ‘no sign of brain damage.’ A remarkable story indeed.

Homepage Topic 1 image Following your direct message request to me, and telling me about what you are going through right now; here’s something to think on. I’m not doing a chart reading here but picking up on an obvious point or two.

This is from a Western astrological perspective. I would have thought you’d have enough to go on from the Vedic astrologers. I hope this doesn’t create more conflict for you – in your understanding.

From a Western perspective, you have Sagittarius rising, with Jupiter conjunct the ascendant. This is a strongly positive and optimistic theme. You’ll tend to project a person who sees the glass as half-full – rather than half-empty. I suspect you can normally draw into your life what you want and be fine.

But notice (in the illustration) you have a pretty much loaded 2nd house with Uranus and Neptune. Keynotes of Uranus are drama and change. Keynotes of Neptune are illusion and transformation. The 2nd house is all about money, possessions, security.

I’m sure you have learnt to live with the potential peaks and troughs of this arrangement. Certainly, if you play the market and shares you will know what I mean by that.

But there is something else that has added to this challenging concoction. Pluto has been moving through your 2nd house for some time. From around early 2019 it linked up first with Neptune and then came up to link up with Uranus – and still very present at this point.

So, if you are feeling insecure, having negative thoughts, it would not surprise me, with this arrangement. This is like taking your ship into and through a storm with huge seas/swells. All in the 2nd house of what you own. This is/has been a challenging period. I hope you are learning from it.

You can either sit this trend out by trusting your ship is watertight enough to get you through. Or you can take appropriate action. Pluto will want to get rid of any deadwood you are carrying – to be your more authentic self. You have to lift your spiritual health/endeavours in whatever way that means for you. You certainly need to listen to your heart for the passage through this storm/Time period.

If sitting tight, consider that Pluto is going direct on the 11th Oct and then moving away from the two planets. It will still be in your 2nd house for some time but I’d anticipate the storm will be gradually passing. Odd to say, but try and make the best use of it.

Your question is confusing. You cannot have “two sun signs for each zodiacal sign.”

But, what I think you are asking is why are there two zodiacs – which can provide two sun signs.

Well, you see there are two. And in the words of Michael Caine, “Not a lot of people know that!”

I’ll come onto answering your question below but first a bit about the two zodiacs… There is the sidereal zodiac and there is the tropical zodiac. The fact that not many people know of this isn’t surprising really, especially as pop astrology gets the two confused in its simplistic representation of Western astrology.

Sidereal Zodiac

The sidereal zodiac is drawn from the constellations of stars around the ecliptic belt – or the path the Earth takes around the Sun.

This zodiac is mainly used in Vedic astrology. Some Western astrologers also make use of it.

Tropical Zodiac

The tropical zodiac is based upon the seasons of the Earth to the Sun. The spring equinox marks the beginning of the cycle of twelve 30 degree signs. Cancer begins at the summer solstice, Libra at autumn equinox, and the winter solstice at the beginning of Capricorn. You could say that the only star involved in this zodiac is the Sun.

This zodiac is mainly used in Western astrology.

Precession of the Equinoxes

At one time there was just the one zodiac. Everything lined up. The cause of there being two zodiacs is due to precession of the equinoxes. This was discovered over two thousand years ago. What it means is that our spring equinox is gradually moving backwards against the background stars (of the sidereal zodiac) and it takes around 26k years to complete one cycle.

The two zodiacs are now out of line with each other to the tune of around 24 degrees. Our spring equinox is currently passing through the sidereal sign of Pisces – and heading towards Aquarius (hence the anticipated Age of Aquarius – which some will argue we are already in)

So, to answer your question: A person with their Sun at say 10 degrees of Scorpio (Scorpio Sun sign) in the tropical zodiac, will also have their Sun at 16 degrees of Libra (24 degrees back) in the sidereal zodiac. They therefore technically have two sun-signs across different systems.

If the same person had their Sun at say 25 degrees of Scorpio in the tropical system, they would still have their Sun in Scorpio in the other – at 1 degree.

This can all get confusing, so if you want my advice, it is stick with one system.

Manually astrologers can use what is called an “ephemeris” (tables) to know the position of planets “in relation to the Earth,” on a daily basis. This can be found in book form or online.

The American Ephemeris | cover image The movement of planets in our solar system are so well recorded, and predictable, that one can either go back in time or forward in time and know precisely where they will be. It means, for example, that The American Ephemeris for the 21st Century provides me with reliable tables of planetary movements running up 2050.

I use both software and manual approaches by the way. Also I do look up at the sky on a regular basis – but more out of wonder than need.

Homepage Topic 1 image Well (if I have understood your question properly) you could, in theory, have the birth of a child, the beginning of a business and the launch of a ship, all happening at the same time (give or take a minute or two – and let’s not quibble) in a town, let’s say on the edge of the ocean.

These events would all have the same natal or birth-chart.

An astrologer dealing with all three would apply the same chart to each situation at hand; and interpret it accordingly. In their evaluation, of the potential of each, there would of course be overlap and some obvious differences/emphasis on each of the three events.

Symbolical representation

What you need to bear in mind from this is that the natal chart is a symbolical representation of an event in Time, space and place – no matter what that event is.

Also, with so many variables represented in the chart, outcomes are not always as black or white as might be expected. Just like Mars, coming to oppose Uranus in Scorpio, does not mean you are going to break a leg riding a motorcycle. You might, or you might have a break-through in discovery of something unsettling previously hidden from you.

Correspondencies

If the astrologer, in our example, could continue to chart all three they would anticipate correspondences (synchronicities) between them to be found through their life journeys – notably the peaks and troughs of experience.

But, as you can anticipate, the outcomes are very likely to be different in nature for each. Let’s say a successful exam outcome for the child, corresponds with a successful contract for the business, and a successful safety inspection for the ship. And so it goes…

Indentical twins

But let’s also look at identical twins. How “does the same natal chart play differently” here?

Identical twins are often said to have strong correspondences with each other throughout their lives. And this has been notable with twins that have been separated in their early years, or at birth. But does it always happen? No, I doubt it! Does it need to for astrology to have value? No!

Like our three events above, here the birth of twins might be so close to each other that really the one natal chart, as good as damn it, applies to both. I know there are astrologers who will say the gap in minutes will make the difference in their respective behaviour – and yes it will contribute. But there are bigger things that need to be understood in this situation.

My argument is that we are not each a tabula rasa when we arrive here. We enter life with an intention that is personal to ourselves. Each child is a soul in a temporary time situation – with something to experience and learn.

How one child handles life and makes use of their potential (as symbolised in this chart for both), does not have to follow the other. And likewise, in the way the other responds to and uses the same symbolical potential.

In other words, identical twins yes, identical souls, not necessarily.
